Reviews
Canada's wittiest UFO-logical commentator has his finger on every extraterrestrial pulse. To his credit, Paul has a writing style that never flags and that always entertains. You may not like or agree with all that he says, however. But, hell, Paul doesn't care, and rightly so. - Nick Redfern, author, Three Men Seeking Monsters
The Other Side of Truth is a rarity -- a blog written with the sensibility of a scholar and a refreshing eye for humor. And it's about UFOs of all things, a subject that's typically bereft of both. Bookmark this one and read often! - Mac Tonnies, author, After the Martian Apocalypse
What Paul is concerned with is convincing the scientific establishment and the skeptical segment of the public that some UFOs are not imaginary or a byproduct of misidentifications of natural or man-made objects. To his credit, he is attempting one of the toughest jobs in the field. He is out for the big fish, while many are content with the daily catch. - Greg Bishop, author, Project Beta
I have really enjoyed reading your blog postings. Obviously, law school was not wasted on you. - the late Karl Pflock, former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense / author
We need somebody like Paul Kimball. TV companies make documentaries on ufology because it's an interesting subject, but it's not a subject they love. When the camera is finally turned off and they walk away, that's it - they move on to the next thing. Paul Kimball doesn't do that. Above all else, I think that what Paul does is that he gets at the real people, the real characters within ufology, and gives them a platform that they might not get elsewhere." - Stuart Miller, publisher, Alien Worlds Magazine
While I remain unconvinced of extraterrestrial visitation, there is no denying the intellectual heft of your views and approach. You introduced me to a community of serious thought that should not be taken lightly... To sum up, your work has sharpened my skepticism, in the best possible sense. Work like yours reclaims ufology as a serious inquiry, which I frankly hadn't realized was possible. - Chris Johnson, Center for Inquiry
Paul Kimball is the most important rising star, in my opinion, in the UFO field. And he seems to be one of the few who has sane views, has a good sense of humor, and I think he will make a permanent mark on the field... May the Space People bless him! - James W. Moseley, Editor / Supreme Commander, Saucer Smear
You'll either find yourself frustrated as all hell with him,or agreeing with him, but either way you're going to be very interested in what he has to say. - Tim Binnall, Binnall of America
Canadian director/producer Paul Kimball is a man who knows ufology. While he may not be a favourite with many notables in the UFO research community - due to his tendency to state what he thinks of various theories, cases and personalities quite openly - he does know the history behind the topic very well, and brings a natural skepticism as well (without being a debunking zealot). Indeed, one could hardly think of a better person to produce a definitive documentary about the best UFO sightings to this point. - Greg Taylor, The Daily Grail
