Gersten is just another New Age nutjob, the garbage that emits from his mouth does justice to his long, sordid history. Come 2012, this joker will be holding his bone, just like his buddy Noory. Paul, you may be a cool fellow, but your association with this ass is just sad.
I certainly don't agree with Gersten about 2012. I find his "end of the program" talk disturbing, because he's a nice guy, and the world would be a poorer place without him. However, I don't simply dismiss all of his views out of hand. He's earned the right to be heard, and speaks only for himself. Further, some of what he says, at least in a general sense, is on the mark. I found his discussion of free will, for example, to be thought-provoking (once you disassociate it from the talk about The Program).
What's sad, however, is calling someone you disagree with a "joker" and an "ass", particularly when you do so behind the cloak of anonymity.

I don't agree with a lot of Gersten's world-view, but I think he's genuinely prescient when it comes to the basic concept of simulation cosmology.
