The 2007 Zorgy Awards

Ladies and gentlemen, here are the results of the 2007 Zorgy Awards, and the 2008 inductees to The Other Side of Truth Halls of Shame and Fame, the voting for which took place in November and December of last year. Thanks to everyone who stopped by to vote - this was the second year for the awards, and "turnout" was higher than in the first year, which is always a good sign!

Thanks Mr. Kimball!

If only Alien Worlds Magazine had been on the stands at nomination time. Next year Mr. Miller takes top honors.

I'm happy that I personally was in the list of troublemakers, but The Paracast didn't even make the short list of podcasts? Seriously? Hmmm....

Is this the part where we say it's an honor just to be nominated, Paul? :) Seriously, all of us at Department 47 are thrilled by the acceptance and support we've received from the Internet UFO community. We're thankful for every one of the fine, sincere people who've found their way to our board.

Congrats to all the winners!

Yeah, I'm with dB on that. "The Paracast" didn't finish in the top four? How can that be? I'm not hearing things on the other shows (especially the pay-only SDI which I'm not hearing at all) that is discernably better than The Paracast. No offense, Tim and Jeremy.

The Paracast wasn't nominated because not enough people wrote in to nominate it back in the fall. Simple as that.

I, for one, will not suck up to Kimball or the voters. It's crap being nominated and losing is crappier. You people make me sick.

Marmer, my show IS discernibly better. I say "shit" a lot.

Paul, you should use that duck to recreate the Billy Meier "forced perspective" photos shot for shot. That would make you my hero.

Until you have me on your show, you just won't be a real podcast, and so people will never vote for you. Simple fact.
Call me. We'll talk! :-)
