I noticed that you made reference to 'contactee Harry Gesner'. I have been unable to find any reference to any contactee by that name online and I was wondering what specific information you have about him being a contactee. Also, I was wondering if this was Harry Gesner the famous architect?Louis Taylorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10180394200730883532noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10903320.post-1130941322503790622005-11-02T10:22:00.000-04:002005-11-02T10:22:00.000-04:00yo say that it was a NOT a hot potato because it w...yo say that it was a NOT a hot potato because it was NOT true.

i don't really agree with that.

The extraterrestrial explanation IS a hot potato even IF it is NOT true.

You simply can not hide a sword by saying that you have a machine-gun. It is ridiculous.

Greetings
DMDon Maorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09501920515893210306noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10903320.post-1130914375382858932005-11-02T02:52:00.000-04:002005-11-02T02:52:00.000-04:00Donmaor:You presume that the information was a "ho...Donmaor:

You presume that the information was a "hot potato." It was not, because it was not true. If it was disinformation, you ask how did they find Smith? They didn't - he found his way to them, by his own admission. Why would they use him? Because he fit the profile of the type of person who could be used. Why would they do it? The idea would have been to distract the Soviets, or perhaps even allies like Canada, from top secret projects, i.e. aircraft, or perhaps something else, but nothing related to UFOs. Or perhaps it was to test the efficiency of Soviet intelligence in Canada, just a couple of years after the Gouzenko affair. Ergo, you leak fake information, and see if it makes its way to your enemies. I don't know. That question is the one that ufologists SHOULD have been looking into.

What I do know is this: any of these possibilities - or myriad others that I have not mentioned - makes more sense than the one that says the US gave Wilbert Smith above top secret information, and included a contactee in on a secret that was supposedly "two points higher than the H-bomb."

As to whether the people really investigating the UFO phenomenon (i.e. the RCAF) in Canada took Smith seriously, the answer, from the evidence, is pretty clear that, for the most part, they did not.

But all that I can do is present the evidence, and draw my own conclusions. Everyone else can draw their own.

Best regards,

Paul KimballPaul Kimballhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08804735930733797952noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10903320.post-1130882399348304412005-11-01T17:59:00.000-04:002005-11-01T17:59:00.000-04:00Paul: There always remain some contradictions i...Paul: There always remain some contradictions in your disinformation theory. I still do not catch why the hell, provided with the fact that Smith's credibility was on the pig`s food level, american intelligence still decided to put such a hot potato into Smith's hands? ¿Why not putting such a potato on the hands of a more serious scientist? how could they know that canadian intellince would take Smith seriously? ¿Did the canadian intelligence took Smith seriously? It looks like Yes... Was canadian intelligence really intelligent? Why have not you got any USA document in which appears undeniably that the Smith's affair was disinformation purposed? it would be easier. Have you asked Stan whether he has encountered such a document? at least he has been on the archives many much more times than you.... has not he? I still do not stand nor swallow the part of the disinformation theory which involves the arousal of deeper curiosity from Russia and Canadá, many more spy agents and certainly more problems. It definitely does not make much sense to me. I still do not get the part of the disiformation theory that denies the real existence of crashed flying saucers. And, regarding to the Smiths credibility, it is obvious that a person with no interest in UFOs, would never tried to make any questions to american people. We have to face some intrinsec parts of the UFO enigma. These parts may displease some people, just like everything. After all my thoughts, the credibility of Smith is something your dissinformation theory have helped to state as "NOT relevant". Even the disinformation theory is not relevant itself, and of course, has no proofs.
Greetings Don MaorDon Maorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09501920515893210306noreply@blogger.com
