With a new feature film in pre-production, and new television series work also ramping up for 2012, I haven't had much time to indulge in my interest in the paranormal (or anything else outside of work, for that matter), but just before Christmas last year I taped a couple of episodes of Night Fright with Brent Holland - one on the UFO phenomenon, and the other on ghosts. The one on ghosts hasn't been posted yet, but the one on UFOs is available, so I've posted it here. It's the first time I've done an interview via Skype video, which was fun because you can see the person with whom you're speaking.
Anyway, we discuss some of the cases from my film Best Evidence, as well as Roswell (only because Brent asked), and then some of the things I'm working on with my book (which my real life business has forced onto a temporary back-burner), including the idea of the paranormal as performance art.
The show contains my new favourite one-liner: "I take the UFO phenomenon too seriously to take Roswell seriously."
