Doing Time headed to the USA

Doing Time, the well-received sci-fi play co-written by Mac Tonnies and yours truly, which premiered here in Halifax in November, 2007, will be making its way to the United States later this year, at the 2008 Boulder International Fringe Festival". Keep an eye out here, and at the Semaphore Theatre blog for updates.

Hopefully Mac (pictured above with actress Christina Cuffari, who played "Jane" in the Halifax run) will be able to make it out for a few shows.

Ah, the basement of the Wired Monk: I remember it well!

(BTW, the link to the Semaphore blog isn't working.)

Link fixed (thanks for letting me know).

May I say, Mr. Tonnies: damned good look for you. Moreover, you pull it off with a little more aplomb than Triple"K", though you may have to be careful in the same room with Mr. Redfern. The continuum _could_ implode. Keep a quality beer handy.

Oh -- and do try _not_ to smile. Richie Reynolds and the "R"Cubed bunch gets their John Birch designer panties into a _huge_ wad as a result. They start wandering the neighborhood wanting to kiss with their mouths open and such. Not pretty.

It is a good look for young Mr. T, although why any guy would be looking at him when he's next to the lovely Ms. Cuffari is beyond me! ;-)

Good God! You may be right!

...Subliminally hot for bald guys?!?

...Could it be possible!?!

Could my simple artistic appreciation of line and form mask the desire for civil union with a bald man, a subsequent move to Vermont, and even child adoption?

I'd only presumed my hetero-ity! This will require a new deliberation — unceasing meditation... [all that poetry... I should have at least suspected.]

That said: I hope Mr. T. likes bears!

rofl.

Well, Vermont is a lovely state. I recommend Montpelier - charming little city!
I think they even have bears. ;-)

Thanks! It's been about a year now, I think. Still no regrets.

Moreover, you pull it off with a little more aplomb than Triple"K", though you may have to be careful in the same room with Mr. Redfern.

I *do* feel a little strange adopting Redfern's trademark "look." I'll have to wear a tie and and dress shirt when in his presence; a leather jacket would just be too creepy!

Hell, yeah! Then you could bill yourselves as "before" the Concrescence and "after" the Concrescence. Or deft selections of "imported" and "home-grown" esoteric. "Bottled in bond" or "aged in hickory." rofl!

Still, you do the dome proud, dude. The look, your own, eh?

...so -- uh, did you decide if you were ursine tolerant?

lol!
